About
According to a 2019 report from the United States Census Bureau, female engineers represent only about 13% of the total engineering workforce. And, according to the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES), Black women comprise a mere 1.6 percent of the country’s scientists and engineers. This alarming underrepresentation underscores the significance of addressing gender and race biases, which often take root at an early age. J.H. Lindo is a children’s media company focused on celebrating diversity and empowering children through STEM exploration.
